Ordering
Once you have placed your order we will confirm receipt with an e-mail. This does not constitute an acceptance of your order, nor does it guarantee that all items are available. Should any product be no longer available we will get in touch explain the position and to ask for your instructions.
All prices listed on the Hay Baby website are correct at the time of entering the information, however, we reserve the right to change prices of any product at any time.
All prices include VAT.
Payment
Payment can be made by cheque (payable to HAY BABY), or online through Paypal.
Delivery Charges
There is nodelivery charge to addresses within the mainland UK on orders totalling £30 or more. for order values below £30 there is a standard cost of £3.95 added for deliveries within mainland UK.
For orders to the Channel and Scilly Isles, BFPO, Eire and all other countries we charge delivery at cost + £2.50 administration fee, and will quote this price by e-mail to you before completing your order.
Despatching of Goods
We strive to despatch all orders as quickly as possible - usually within 7 days of receipt of payment - providing items are in stock.
We will let you know if we need longer than this to fulfil your order. If you are ordering more than one item, your goods may be sent to you in instalments if certain items are out of stock.
Once the order leaves us we use a 48 hour delivery service in the UK or Royal Mail first class post. PLEASE NOTE - Larger orders and bespoke orders will require a signature.
Orders to other countries are despatched just as quickly and arrive as fast as their national postal services allow. International parcels weighing over 2 Kilos, will be sent using a fully trackable service. Lighter items are sent by Air Mail and the price depends upon the actual weight. Please note that whilst we obtain proof of postage, orders sent by Air Mail are not trackable and we cannot accept responsibility for orders that fail to arrive, outside UK.
If your delivery address is outside of the UK, you may have to pay import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You must meet any additional charges for customs clearance. As customs policies vary widely from country to country, we recommend you contact your local customs office for further information.
Refunds and Exchanges
We want you to be entirely happy with your order so if you don’t like it or it doesn’t fit we will give you a full refund or exchange assuming you return your purchase to us – in the same condition it was sent to you - within 28 days.
Please contact us here and we will give you details of where to post your returns. Please also obtain proof of postage if returning an item.
You undertake that all goods ordered by you are for your own private and domestic use only and are not for resale.
You agree that if you break these Conditions, or any liabilities are incurred arising out of your use of this website, you will be responsible for the costs and expenses that we or our agents and suppliers incur as a result of the breach, including reasonable legal fees (if applicable).
Hay Baby reserves the right to end our agreement with you and to suspend or terminate your access to the site immediately and without notice to you if you breach any of our terms and conditions.

If you don't see something exactly as you'd like it here, on the Hay Baby site, let us know what you need and we'll make it for you - there's nothing like the personal touch. We can personalise garments with children's initials; we can use swatches of your precious fabrics too. I always have denim and some kind of linen, but otherwise, the patterned fabrics vary, depending on what I’ve found recently.
Broadly speaking I can give you a check, a stripe or something flowery and my fabric baskets are split into colours – yellow, green, red, blue, pink, purple and natural. I’m also very happy to incorporate your own fabrics into the designs, if you’d like me to. For example, if your daughter has recently grown out of a favourite dress, I can make it into the lining of a little bag for her – or use some of it in a patch on a t-shirt.

When we’ve agreed on the design and colours, I’ll email or phone you to let you know the cost and once you’ve paid – by cheque, over the phone or online – I’ll make the item and send it to you.

I aim to turn orders round as quickly as possible – usually within ten days – but at busy times it may take a little longer. If you want the item for a specific date, such as a birthday, I’ll do my best to meet your requirements.
